Advanced course

Objective

To increase in-depth knowledge on the use of ZO products and ZO chemical peels, in certain skin conditions (see topics below) - in conjunction with other scientifically proven treatment modalities, all based on the pathophysiology of these conditions and taking into account the differential diagnosis of each. 

The outcome of the meeting is that participants are better able to integrate ZO products into their medical practice thereby optimizing and individualizing patient care.

Format

Two-day highly interactive meeting with a maximum of 14 participants. Participants are encouraged to mail questions upfront (min of 2 weeks prior to the meeting) and/or to raise them during the meeting.

Target audience

Physician (assistant)s, aesthetic/cosmetic physicians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons. A separate product training is held the day preceding the Master class for participants that would like to familiarize themselves in more detail.

Case discussions

This meeting is an opportunity to discuss difficult or otherwise interesting cases. Please feel free to present a case for group discussion. You are requested to provide a minimum of two weeks prior to the meeting your case in slide format (max 3). Strict confidentiality to these case discussions applies.

The 3-Step Peel will be demonstrated on two participants, provided their skin is adequately prepared. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to volunteer as a model.

Biography

Stephan Marks is an aesthetic physician and owner of the Clinic for Aesthetic Medicine in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The clinic was founded in 2011 and has grown to become an expertise centre for ZO Skin Health and ZO Medical products, IPL/OPL, fractional laser and injectables.

His clinic was the first in Europe to use ZO Medical and this has afforded him the ability to gain a wealth of experience and insight. He has been a member of the international ZO faculty and trainer on ZO Skin Health and ZO Medical on behalf of the Dutch distributor.

He has a diploma from the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and previously spent 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently as Medical Director Virology Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
